Yas Waterworld Theme
Yas waterworld is themed from an Emirati legend about a brave girl called Dana. Dana went on a quest to bring back a pearl that was lost from her village during a strong storm. The pearl was important because it brought prosperity to her village.
During Dana’s travels, she was guided by animals such as camels, falcons and dolphins who also protected her from bandits and a snake who wanted to retrieve the pearl for themselves as well. The story comes to an end when Dana’s innocent teardrops fall into an oasis bringing rise to a majestic pearl that towers over the village hence restoring prosperity to her people.
Dana’s story is incorporated in Yas waterworld architecture including the shops and restaurant in the park. The pearl can be seen from outside the waterpark.
