La Perle Dubai A show unlike any other
La Perle Dubai is the first ever resident show in Dubai. It features a thrilling theatrical performance complete with stunning action and acrobatics and hence is a must see while in Dubai.
The Creator
La Perle Dubai was created by renowned art Director, Franco Dragone. Dragone is an Italian-Belgian art director who is able to fuse the art of the theatre with ballet and circus to create a most unique, thrilling and entertaining performance.
The Venue
La Perle Dubai by Dragone is hosted in a state of the art aquatheater in Al Habtoor city, Dubai. The theatre was built and designed specifically for creator Franco Dragone to execute his genius ideas in directing the play without any inhibition to his creative process.
The theatre is custom made to incorporate the aquatic theme of the show where the stage floor is filled with 2.7 million litres of water one moment and dry a few seconds later. Torrents of rain and waterfalls are also a part of the show.
The theatre also holds enough capacity with 1300 seats spread across 14 rows to create an enveloping and intimate atmosphere. This also ensures that everyone at the show gets a good seat and hence gets a good view of the stage pool to fully enjoy the show. The seats are grouped into Gold, Silver and Bronze levels according to the placement with Gold seats being at the front. The gold seats are also bigger, more comfortable and longer leg space.
The Show
La Perle Dubai, directed by Franco Dragone features over 65 performers from 23 countries. Among them are acrobats, flyers, divers and actors who come together to create this masterpiece. The show is about showing a futuristic Dubai as a place where people from different cultures can come together to create something that hasn’t been seen before.
The show features amazing stunts which include incredible 25 metre dives in the aquatic water stage which holds 2.7 million litres of water. There are also amazing aerial stunts by the flyers, acrobats and other performers who all come together to bring an awe inspiring and breathtaking performance to life.
La Perle Dubai is expected to run for at least a period of ten years with ten performances staged every week. Two performances are held per night and hence there are ample chances for you to catch the show whenever you are in Dubai.
